Creativity & Truth

There are so many elegant truths hidden within the inherent structure of astrology. For example, just take the 5th house in the zodiacal wheel of life. At a high level, this area represents what we create, but is also harmoniously connected to the 1st and 9th houses of self/identity and higher mind/God.

This means that anything we create will always be intimately connected to who we are. It is impossible to completely disentangle our identity from our creations. And so it is with our greatest ones: our children. They are bits and pieces of us, even to the extent that they share our physical appearance. They are an extension of our identity.

But creation is also a replication of its perfect form that exists somewhere else. Any time we create anything, we tap into an ideal that is perfect and complete in a realm we can scarcely conceive. Just as what we create is an extension of us, we are also an extension of this. Our impulse and innate spark to create is a reflection, an echo, a microcosmic pattern, of the creative directive of an intelligent, aware mind. It is all connected and continuously inspired by this closed network of energy that flows circuitously from these areas. Creation is evidence of our connection to divinity. We cannot conceive of our identity without it and our creations cannot be thought of as completely independent of us either.

These truths do not require this structure to be understood for they are self-evident. But this ageless structure which has existed since the beginning and was lost and forgotten within the sands of time can confirm that these intimations were always right and these beliefs correspond to an existential, eternal structure of logic. This type of redemption does not come around very often because it is a reclamation of truth. In many ways, this is a purpose of astrology. Its study is an exercise in understanding the underlying philosophical structure of existence. We are trying to understand the workings of a higher mind through emanations of manifestation symbolized by the constant flow of creativity. By grasping this we find pure intelligence, which in turn is beauty, which in turn is the pure joy of experiencing our core sense of self as a microcosm of THIS.
